01 / Speed

Pose 4× faster.

Minimal setup
Choose your rig. Confirm the setup. Start posing.
04 / Refine and record

Pose. Refine. Record.

Work directly on the rig when needed, or record a continuous AutoPose take.

01
Manual Pose

Switch to regular Pose Mode, adjust the rig directly, then continue from the visible pose.

02
Record

Pose continuously, then bake the complete take to the timeline.

05 / Workflow

From first drag to final take.

  1. 01Direct the pose

Position, Rotation, Look At, and World controls.

  2. 02Control the constraints

Activate, freeze, hide, or deactivate only what the pose needs.

  3. 03Ground the feet

Soft foot-contact guidance with a fitted or adjustable ground.

  4. 04Refine by hand

Switch to Manual Pose, make the correction, and continue.

  5. 05Save and animate

Save checkpoints or capture a continuous take with Record.

06 / Requirements

Minimum requirements.

Blender
4.5 or newer
Platforms
Windows x64, Linux x64, macOS Intel and Apple Silicon
Processor
64-bit Intel, AMD, or Apple Silicon CPU
Graphics
No dedicated GPU required. AutoPose solves on the CPU.
07 / Limitations

What AutoPose is built for.

  • Humanoid rigs

Works with humanoid character rigs. Non-humanoid rigs are not supported.

  • FK body controls

AutoPose poses FK body controls. To continue in IK, use your rig's FK-to-IK snap after posing.

  • Body posing

Fingers and facial controls are not supported. Pose them manually.

  • 16 active constraints

A maximum of 16 constraints can be active. Using fewer gives the rest of the body more freedom to adjust.

  • Soft guidance

Constraints and foot contact guide the pose instead of locking it. Small shifts can occur when constraints compete.
